Job Summary
Lead pruning, cabling, bracing, rigging, and removals while safely supervising crew members and maintaining equipment like chainsaws and aerial lifts. Ensure all tree care work meets industry standards, verify crew training for assignments, and manage operations under direction from the Arborist Representative and Local Manager. Communicate with clients, answer questions, and build relationships on job sites. Perform these duties outdoors year-round in all weather conditions. This role offers advancement opportunities within the Bartlett Tree Experts Research Laboratories in Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
- Valid driver's license
- Class B CDL
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
- Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
