Job Summary
Lead a tree care crew by safely performing and supervising pruning, cabling, bracing, rigging, and removals while maintaining and operating hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Ensure all crew members are trained for designated assignments and that work adheres to industry standards. Manage the team as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager, communicating with clients and building relationships. Maintain a cooperative attitude year-round in all weather conditions. This role offers advancement opportunities within the Bartlett Tree Experts Research Laboratories in State College, PA, with competitive compensation, benefits, and industry credential license pay increases.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
- Valid driver's license
- Class B CDL
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
