Job Summary
The Arborist Crew Lead directs crew members and equipment to perform arboricultural tasks on-site in St. Louis, MO, including pruning, thinning and removing deadwood, installation of cables/bracing/lightning protection, and removal of hazardous trees. The role involves climbing using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems, mentoring crew members, operating and maintaining tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts), and ensuring safe, productive job execution. Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
