Job Summary
Conduct hands-on arboriculture training to safely perform tree climbing, pruning, rigging, cabling, bracing, and hazardous tree removal. Operate and maintain equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts while implementing work zone safety procedures. Assist Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders on ground and aloft, and handle driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties. Adhere strictly to all safety rules and company policies. Gain practical field experience in scientific tree care on commercial and residential properties. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team
Desired Qualifications
- Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture experience
- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field
