Job Summary
Prune, thin, and remove deadwood in tree canopies while installing cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems. Operate chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts, assisting with site setup, debris removal, and cleanup. Adhere to safety policies and demonstrate canopy climbing skills, tree identification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Full-time year-round employment at $21-$27/hour. Required Qualifications
- Understanding and implementation of the process of safely ascending tree canopies at all heights
- Minimum 1 year of climbing experience
- Certified Arborist or willingness to work towards
- Strong tree, knot and shrub identification skills
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Valid provincial driver's license
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and Airbrake endorsement considered an asset
- Preferred background in Forestry, Horticulture or Landscaping
- Must be 18 years of age or older
