Job Summary
Control lowering ropes, supply tools for tree workers aloft, and manage road and sidewalk traffic using warning devices. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance inspections. Cut, chip, and load brush and wood while completing proper job site cleanup. Assist crew members and adhere to safety policies. Full-time year-round employment at $20-$25/hour. Valid provincial driver's license with air brake endorsement required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid provincial driver's license
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset
- Previous arboriculture/horticulture experience
- Willingness to work towards becoming a certified Arborist
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress
- Must be 18 years of age or older
