Job Summary
Control lowering ropes, supply tools for aloft workers, and manage road and sidewalk traffic using warning devices. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance inspections on equipment, then cut, chip, and load brush and wood. Complete proper job site cleanup and assist other crew members while abiding by safety policies. Work full-time year-round at on-site locations in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, earning $20-$25/hour based on qualifications. Valid provincial driver's license with 5-ton and air brake endorsement required; previous arboriculture experience is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Valid provincial driver's license
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset
- Previous arboriculture/horticulture experience
- Willingness to work towards becoming a certified Arborist
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress
- Must be 18 years of age or older
