Job Summary
Conduct scientific tree and shrub care on commercial and residential properties through hands-on training in pruning, rigging, cabling, bracing, root collar excavations, and removals. Maintain and operate equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts while executing integrated pest management tasks such as property inspections, tree identification, and soil sampling. Document findings through record-keeping and report writing while managing client relations. Participate in safety meetings and develop professional relationships within a multi-disciplinary team. Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Turfgrass, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field
- Interest in working outdoors in all weather conditions
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team
