Job Summary
Arbiter/Attorney (Onsite) sought to arbitrate/decide payment disputes in medical/eligibility contexts. Responsibilities include analyzing documentation, managing case files, drafting concise determinations, researching issues using federal law and contract law, reviewing plan contracts to determine entitlement to benefits, and communicating determinations in a clearly written format. Requires a Juris Doctorate (preferred) and strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and related systems. Location is Isabela, Puerto Rico; onsite role with base pay $70,000-$90,000 depending on qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate preferred
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of arbitrating or adjudicating and processing disputes in medical field
