Job Summary
Arabic Linguist with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to provide translation, interpretation, transcription, and gisting across Arabic-English, including consecutive and occasional simultaneous interpretation. Responsibilities include translating materials, capturing nuance and cultural references, interpreting with high fidelity across dialects, transcribing audio, and producing high-quality English reports. Must summarize key facts from large datasets and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication in English and Arabic. Overseas travel (OCONUS) required; travel readiness and ability to support 24/7 when traveling. Preference for experience supporting contingency operations and familiarity with the U.S. Intelligence Community.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 6–10 years of related experience
- 3+ years of translation/interpretation experience
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online research
- Successful completion of language proficiency test (Senior level) or equivalent
- Travel to overseas locations (OCONUS) is required
