Job Summary
Arabic Linguist travel role supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA. Translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced Arabic materials (printed, audio, manuals, journals) into American English, perform simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, provide analysis and reporting of translated material, and QC junior linguists. Prepare and update databases of translated source material, scan intercepted data to determine pertinence to mission requirements, and support CONUS/OCONUS operations. Role may lead or be part of a team of linguists. Requires US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; willing to deploy for 4–8 weeks; travel up to 50%. Full-time position with opportunity for varied missions within CACI and related openings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
- Ability to pass an advanced English test
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to deploy for 4 to 8 weeks at a time
- ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test
- Minimum five (5) years’ professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation
- Master use of MS Office and internet research
