Job Summary
AR Staff Accountant responsible for daily bank deposits, Acumatica batch integration, batch exceptions tracking and processing with business units, accounts receivable collections, credit card and various general ledger reconciliations. Hybrid role with 3 days per week in the Durham, NC office. Responsibilities include preparing daily bank deposits, reconciling and posting batches, processing remote deposits, AR collections and research, reconciling credit card receipts with vendors and Acumatica, data entry for claims payments in Acumatica, resolving general ledger discrepancies through monthly reconciliations, and supporting the finance team as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Acumatica ERP software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and willingness to be a team player
- Scuba Industry, Non-Profit or Insurance Agency experience is a plus
