Job Summary
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while preparing financial statements and management reports for leadership. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis, and oversee healthcare billing, AR aging, collections, and payer reimbursements. Monitor cash flow, support budgeting, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies. Conduct internal audits of billing and accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance, and support external audits and regulatory reviews by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests. Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax preparers as needed. Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and reporting requirements, and identify opportunities to improve billing, collections, and accounting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of accounting/AR experience
- Strong healthcare billing and AR experience
- Strong understanding of general accounting, financial statements, and financial operations
Desired Qualifications

- Home care, urgent care, outpatient, or similar healthcare experience
- Experience with internal or external audit processes
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, and capable of growing into broader finance and accounting responsibilities
