Job Summary
AR Calling, Hospital Billing Specialist in Revenue Cycle Management Services for PwC Acceleration Centers. Role focuses on healthcare provider revenue cycle management, performing in-depth analyses to support projects, collaborating with diverse teams to improve operational efficiencies, and driving results that enhance client satisfaction and patient care. Requires understanding of medical billing, insurance claims, and reimbursement; proficiency with billing software, EHRs, and Microsoft Office; strong communication skills; and ability to work night shifts aligned to US time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum undergraduate degree or graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution
- 6+ months of experience in healthcare provider revenue cycle management
- Understanding of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and reimbursement methodologies
- Proficiency in using billing software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Ability to interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Experience with Epic HB or PB systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms (preferred)
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Medical Technology (preferred)
