Job Summary
AR Calling - Denial Specialist in healthcare provider revenue cycle management for PwC Acceleration Centers. Responsibilities include supplying specialized knowledge in healthcare provider revenue cycle management, executing tasks and analyses for project support, collaborating with multiple teams to enhance operational workflows, focusing on delivering quality results that improve patient care outcomes, analyzing data to discern patterns to inform strategies, providing technical input for project needs, and adapting to a dynamic work environment while maintaining quality delivery. Minimum qualifications include an undergraduate or graduate degree and 6+ months of experience in healthcare RCM, with knowledge of medical billing processes, insurance claims, reimbursement methodologies, HIPAA compliance, EHR systems, and relevant billing/coding practices. The role requires strong communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills, along with the ability to work night shifts aligned to US time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree (10+2) OR Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- 6+ Months of experience in healthcare provider revenue cycle management
- Understanding of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and reimbursement methodologies
- Proficiency in EHR and billing software; MS Office
- English communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Familiarity with UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding (preferred)
- Shift flexibility to night shifts (US time zone)
