Job Summary
AR & Billing Manager responsible for leading day-to-day billing operations across construction and service divisions, overseeing AIA and time & materials invoices, service work orders, and contract billing workflows; supervising a billing team of ~6 project accountants and billers; ensuring accuracy, timely invoicing, and adherence to contractual requirements; collaborating with project managers, service technicians, dispatch, and finance; managing third-party portals (Ariba, Coupa, Maximo, Textura) and ERP systems (COINS or similar); generating billing summaries and profitability reports; resolving escalated billing inquiries and driving process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role
- Construction industry experience required
- Proficient in AIA billings, lien waiver processes, and third-party customer portals
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., COINS, Sage Intacct, or similar)
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Customer-focused approach with problem-solving skills and a positive, team-first attitude
