Job Summary
AR- Accounting Assistant for a 2-year contract. Responsible to assist and manage day-to-day accounting transactions related to bank deposits, accounts receivable and collections. Duties include reviewing and recording transactions in the accounting system, managing end-to-end bank deposit processes, broker account management and reconciliations, AR aging, positive-pay processes, month-end tasks, coordinating with Accounts Payables, maintaining confidentiality of financial information, and providing support for audits and process improvements. Requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with Excel/MS Word, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication and teamwork. Work hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday; Langley, BC, Canada location. Salary CAD 45,000–52,000 annually; compensation may include bonuses/commissions depending on qualifications and location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in commerce or Diploma in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
