Job Summary
AR Accountant Senior role focused on driving technical excellence and process unification across global AR and revenue operations. Responsibilities include managing complex accounting treatments (revenue deferrals, CCC, promotional schemes, and revenue recognition), leading month-/quarter-/year-end close, ensuring accuracy of revenue and AR data for group and statutory reporting, supporting audits, and implementing new billing channels and deferral logic. Mentoring mid-level accountants, reviewing their work, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 4 years of relevant AR/Revenue Operations experience, IFRS 15 knowledge a plus, advanced Excel/Sheets, and experience with Dynamics Business Central, Workday Financials, or FloQast. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities to drive process improvements and Workday transition efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, IT, or related field
- At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in high-volume AR or Revenue Operations
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles; IFRS 15 knowledge is advantageous
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets; data analysis skills
- Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (Navision), Workday Financials, or FloQast is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail
- Ability to independently lead technical accounting implementations, system configurations, and process enhancements
- Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
