Aquatics Swim Instructor

Job Summary
Instructs swimming lessons for adults and children, evaluates swimming ability to assign levels, maintains a safe, clean pool area, and promotes Life Time’s aquatic programs and services. Responsibilities include responding to member questions, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and delivering engaging instruction while meeting Life Time policies. Requires CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard certifications (acquired within 60 days of hire) and the ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping. Previous swim instruction or coaching experience is preferred. Position is part-time at Life Time’s Brookfield, WI location, with ongoing opportunities to support program participation and facility operations.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
- CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Certifications (within 60 days of hire)
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs occasionally
- Complete and pass Life Time courses when hired
