Job Summary
Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events for adults and children while evaluating their ability to establish correct swim levels. Maintain the cleanliness and order of the Aquatics Facilities, respond to member questions, and promote all Aquatics programs and services. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized pool area by adhering to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certifications. Requires working towards a High School Diploma, passing all Life Time courses, and swimming 25 yards continuously. Hourly wages start at $14.25 and reach up to $17.00 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
- Successfully complete and pass all Life Time courses upon hire
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification
- BLS CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification (for Canada)
- Standard FA with CPR C (for Canada)
