Job Summary
Oversee pool operations and community use; supervise lifeguards and instructors, coordinate staff, manage emergencies and EAPs, handle building security and cash deposits, maintain lesson tracking and registration records, and support teaching professional lifeguarding, CPR, and AED courses; requires related certifications (AFO, WSI, lifeguard/CPR/AED), strong safety, communication, and organizational skills, and ability to work flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of college preferred or equivalent work experience
- Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certificate
- Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
- Red Cross lifeguard certification
- First aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
- Ability to obtain/maintain valid Washington State Driver's License and travel as needed
