Job Summary
Aquatics Supervisor oversees Life Time’s pool programs and staff, ensuring a safe and friendly environment for members and guests, managing and training Aquatics Team Members, responding to inquiries about Life Time programs, and promoting swim programming. Responsibilities include supervising lifeguard staff, coaching and lifeguard training, maintaining facility cleanliness and order, and delivering high-quality programming across indoor and outdoor pools, including both recreational and lap facilities. Requires customer-service orientation, ability to swim 300 yards/meters, and ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly with occasional heavier lifting. Certifications in StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid are required (or bridge to StarGuard when expiring within the first year). Preferred candidates may have some college or progress toward a 4-year degree.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 6 months of customer service experience
- 1 year coaching and/or swim instructor experience
- 1 year of lifeguarding experience
- 6 months of head guard or supervising experience
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certification (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
