Job Summary
Conduct daily aquatics operations by supervising staff, enforcing safety rules, and ensuring facility cleanliness and equipment maintenance. Plan and implement year-round programs to maximize facility potential while driving membership sales and revenue generation. Coordinate CPR and First Aid training across departments and develop service enhancements for swimmers. Requires 2-4 years of water instruction and life guarding experience, plus leadership skills, with a valid Class D driver's license. On-call rotation applies with weekly pay and competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years water instruction and life guarding experience
- 2+ years of indirect or 1 year of direct leadership experience
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and kinesiology
- Lifeguard Training Certification
- C.P.R. and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Valid Class D driver's license
- Good driving record
- Physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including on feet 50% of time
- Capacity to handle and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
