Job Summary
Position Summary: Aquatics Lifeguard responsible for safety-minded, customer-service oriented oversight of indoor/outdoor pools, monitoring the pool deck and water slides, and assisting with aquatics events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza. Responsibilities include greeting and interacting with members, rescues and first-aid administration, ensuring awareness of potentially dangerous swim areas, and keeping the pool area clean and orderly. Must have Lifeguard and First Aid certification and be able to swim 300 yards/meters, tread water for 1 minute, swim to retrieve a 10 lb diving brick, and communicate effectively with guests about Life Time products and services. Required Qualifications
- Lifeguard and First Aid Certified
- Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to tread water for 1 minute
- Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
- Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
- Customer service experience preferred (6 months suggested)
- Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services
- Ability to move about the club for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend to raise more than 20 lbs
