Job Summary
Monitor state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor recreational and lap pools while overseeing water slides and ensuring safety on the pool deck. Greet members, rescue swimmers in danger of drowning, administer first aid, and keep the pool area clean and orderly. Assist with aquatics events such as "Dive in Movies" and "Poolapalooza." This hourly position requires StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certification, along with the ability to swim 300 yards and retrieve a 10 lb diving brick. Wages start at $14.25 and go up to $17.00 based on experience. Full-time team members receive medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, plus a fully subsidized membership. Required Qualifications
- Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification
- BLS CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to tread water for 1 minute
- Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
- Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs
