Job Summary
Oversee the daily operation of the aquatics department at Six Flags in Marietta, GA. Lead and train aquatics staff through daily coaching, discipline, and rewards; assist with department and division training; perform life guarding/ride attendant duties as needed; ensure guest safety and maintain high throughput while addressing guest comments and audits. Maintain compliance with Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification and support park goals alongside Operations staff. Focus on Guest First standards and safety, and support ongoing training and emergency response as required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant)
- Must possess Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to motivate with leadership skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to respond immediately and oversee emergency situations
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds
