Job Summary
Aquatics Leadership role overseeing daily operation in the aquatics department with opportunities to interview for Lead, Supervisor, or Senior Supervisor. Responsibilities include ensuring safe operation, supervising aquatics staff through training and coaching, overseeing department training, standing in for life guarding/ride attendant duties when necessary, maintaining audit standards, collaborating with Operations to meet goals, upholding Guest First standards, managing guest comments, and ensuring training/testing procedures per Ellis and Associates. Includes safety oversight, high throughput management, and general duties assigned by Aquatics/Park Management. Pay range $15.50–$17.50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 - 2 years of aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people
- Ability to motivate with excellent leadership skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Must achieve, receive and maintain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification
- Outstanding performance as a team member
- Must be able to respond immediately, adapt to, and oversee all emergency situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Physical requirements: capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds; walk/stand for 8+ hours
