Job Summary
Oversee daily aquatics department operations, including staff training, coaching, discipline, and rewards while ensuring safe park and guest standards. Assist with aquatics work crew projects and maintain high throughput goals through adherence to Six Flags training requirements and Six Flags Ellis audits. Handle guest comments and complaints, respond immediately to emergency situations, and work assigned life guarding or ride attendant positions as necessary. Achieve and maintain High Pass or Exceeds ratings in all department audits.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 - 2 years of aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess an enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people
- Ability to motivate with excellent leadership skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Must achieve, receive and maintain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification
- Must be able to respond immediately, adapt to, and oversee all emergency situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 or more hours at a time
- Applicants must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds
