Job Summary
Teach all levels of American Red Cross swim lessons to participants of all ages and abilities while enforcing pool rules and ensuring swimmer safety. Communicate with parents regarding appropriate class enrollment and provide ongoing updates with the reception desk. Prepare award certificates, patches, and cards upon course completion, and respond quickly to emergency situations in the water or deck area. Maintain a clean, orderly aquatic environment and display a professional appearance. This part-time role involves varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a requirement for CPR and First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- Community C.P.R. certification
- Standard First Aid certification
- Experience teaching all ages and all-American Red Cross levels
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
