Job Summary
Lead small groups of swimmers through progressively challenging skills via in-water instruction and coaching for all age groups. Plan and organize class time using assigned lesson plans while teaching with encouragement and positive reinforcement. Communicate progress to parents and enforce facility policies and regulations. Complete necessary paperwork and reports for each level covered. This role is central to Atlanta Swim Academy's learn-to-swim program, offering growth opportunities into Lead Instructor and Supervisor positions with cross-training in retail, customer service, and administration.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work at least one 4-hour shift either Sat. or Sun.
- Certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, CPR, and First Aid (training and course will be available for candidates after hiring, however; preference will be given to those that have active certification)
