Job Summary
Coordinate office, retail, and reception operations while managing administrative functions, scheduling, and revenue tracking. Mentor team members through rotations in teaching and support roles to develop business acumen and operational execution skills. Coach non-exempt personnel on performance and policy compliance, support recruiting efforts, and ensure facility cleanliness standards are met. Oversee class enrollments, customer engagement initiatives, and financial goals including lesson and retail revenue to meet site KPIs. Serve as a brand ambassador by building customer loyalty and relationships. Obtain American Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days. Travel to school locations in Minneapolis, Chicago, Madison, St. Louis, Ankeny, and Fargo as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in a supervisor role
- Must obtain American Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification within the first 90 days of employment
- be required to adhere to American Red Cross standards outlined in the certification requirements
- maintain an active certificate throughout tenure in the role
- Availability to workdays, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information

- Ability to travel to school locations throughout the Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; Madison, WI; St. Louis, MO; Ankeny, IA; and Fargo, ND throughout Assistant Manager Training Program, as necessary
- Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 15 pounds without assistance
- heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance
- Review documents, computer monitors or displays with potentially small print
- Operate a computer, handheld device such as an iPad, phone and other common office tools or controls
- Mentally focus on tasks and apply sound reasoning and judgement
- Speak with others, including children, using clear, professional, and age-appropriate language
Desired Qualifications
- one year of employment at FOSS preferred
- Experience in retail, health and fitness, restaurant, or other related experience preferred
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team
- Ability to collaborate with others to identify and solve issues or make proactive recommendations and lead through influence
- Ability to participate in organizational, employee or community engagement events as necessary
