Aquatics Assistant Leader

Job Summary
Oversee all Aquatics programs including Family Swim, Swim Lessons, Swim Team, and Masters Swim while ensuring safe, successful operations and financials. Help cast, train, and develop all team members to deliver a safe and friendly experience for members and guests. Respond to all member inquiries professionally and manage the department's financials to meet or exceed goals. Assist the Manager in supervising the entire Aquatics Team. Requires StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification, BLS CPR, and First Aid. Some college experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to tread water for 1 minute
- Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
- Some College experience
- 1 Year of Customer Service Experience
- 1 Year of supervisory/management experience
- 1 Year of swim instruction/coaching experience
- 2 Years of lifeguard experience
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification
- BLS CPR certification
- First Aid certification
Desired Qualifications
- National Swimming Pool Foundation Certified Pool Operator
- Pool and Hot Tub Association (PHTA) Certified Pool Operator
