Job Summary
Oversee all Aquatics programs including Family Swim, Swim Lessons, Swim Team, and Masters Swim while managing team members, finances, and safety operations. Cast, train, and develop staff to ensure a safe, friendly experience for members and guests. Respond to all member inquiries professionally and help the Manager meet department goals in operations and financials. Requires StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certification, plus swimming ability to retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the pool bottom. One year of supervisory and swim instruction experience is required. Required Qualifications
- Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to tread water for 1 minute
- Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
- Some College experience
- 1 Year of Customer Service Experience
- 1 Year of supervisory/management experience
- 1 Year of swim instruction/coaching experience
- 2 Years of lifeguard experience
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification
- BLS CPR certification
- First Aid certification
Desired Qualifications
- National Swimming Pool Foundation Certified Pool Operator
- Pool and Hot Tub Association (PHTA) Certified Pool Operator
