Perform technical aquarium animal husbandry routines at a high level while demonstrating proficiency in multiple species and ecosystem management. Solve day-to-day challenges relating to animal care and processes using critical thinking and proactive thought. Assist in prioritizing training goals and enrichment methods, while participating in the training of new keepers and providing regular coaching and feedback. Provide reliable communication during daily team meetings covering animal management challenges, operational demands, and best practices. Exhibit independent decision-making in operations and serve as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Consistently demonstrate the Disney 5-keys and Seas Team norms. Requires 3+ years of AZA animal experience, SCUBA certification, and ability to move 50 pounds regularly. Full-time position in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
