Ensure proper class setup, timing, and cleanup, and communicate emergency procedures with confidence. Maintain industry certifications and continuing education requirements, and offer flexible scheduling to accommodate center hours. Deliver a fun, engaging experience to members and guests while demonstrating accountability for attendance and substitute coordination.
Required Qualifications
- CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire
- Certification for some specialty group exercise class instruction is required
- Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in group class instruction, teaching a variety of styles, levels and population preferred
- A group exercise instructor certification preferred
- Preferably an NCCA accredited certification
