Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated aqua fitness instructor to lead engaging classes for adults of all ages and levels. Responsibilities include leading upbeat aqua aerobics classes, teaching a mix of cardio, strength, and mobility exercises, demonstrating proper form, maintaining a supportive class environment, monitoring pool safety, and assisting with class logistics. Required skills include comfort in water, strong communication, and the ability to encourage participants. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for training and development.
Required Qualifications
- Must be comfortable in the water or teaching on pool deck
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication & people skills
- Ability to lead groups and encourage participants
- Willingness to learn and complete training
Desired Qualifications
- Experience teaching fitness or coaching groups
- Aqua Fitness or Group Fitness certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, etc.)
