Job Summary
Design, prepare, and deliver open-format group aqua aerobics classes tailored to a diverse participant base under the supervision of the Fitness Manager. Create engaging, safe, and effective workouts while leading and motivating participants effectively. Maintain current certification from a nationally recognized fitness organization and hold or obtain CPR/AED certification. Foster a positive and inclusive class environment through strong communication and interpersonal skills. This year-round, part-time position offers flexible availability, a starting rate of $24.00 per hour, and includes a complementary membership to the Fitness Center, Recreation Center, Water Park, and Dog Park.
Required Qualifications
- current certification from a nationally recognized fitness organization
- strong preference for credentials in Aqua Aerobics instruction
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/AED certification or ability to gain CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
