Job Summary
Build and execute processes and controls for AQR's Family Office function, integrating AI concepts to support accounting, reporting, and administrative services for Partners. Oversee reporting on ownership interests and investments, manage the internal seed capital program, and coordinate charitable giving transactions. Support estate planning administration and due diligence for a new seed fund vehicle while identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and enhance reporting. Work directly with Partners and external advisors to deliver scalable process improvements within the Finance team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a family office, private banking, or public accounting serving high-net-worth clients
- Strong accounting and financial reporting skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to build scalable processes and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professionalism and discretion to work directly with AQR Partners
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and with external advisors
- High degree of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
