Job Summary

APU Quality Engineer at Valeo focusing on quality assurance for the APU line. Responsibilities include initiating QRQC in the VIM database, supporting APU Managers in issue analysis, updating quality tracking charts, auditing the production line to ensure compliance with standards, participating in eradication of customer and non-quality issues, enforcing quality rules during QRQC meetings, revising control plans after issues, verifying 4M matrix compliance, and ensuring customer awareness and approval of changes. Will update quality documents, ensure continuous conformance to specifications (machine capability, yearly product audits), and have authority to stop a manufacturing/assembly line if safety or quality risks are detected. Represent the customer on quality matters and, in the APU Quality Leader context, may report to the APU Quality Leader and Site Quality Manager. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and 2+ years of quality engineering experience in automotive manufacturing; emphasis on post-change validation, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Engineering
  • 2+ years in Quality Engineering experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
