Job Summary
APU Payment Analyst in the NYC DYCD Agency Payment Unit. Responsibilities include reviewing invoices and processing payments to Vendors and Human Service Contract Providers, reviewing Passport Invoices and Program Expense Report Summaries (PERS) for policy compliance, and using PASSPort, FMS, and CCMS systems. Manage ~250 contracts by processing monthly PASSPort Invoices and PERS; ensure timely processing; verify information on invoices and purchase orders; align with budget allocations and fiscal year service periods; resolve fiscal reporting discrepancies with providers and staff; perform encumbrance reconciliations in CCMS, PASSPort, and FMS; handle fiscal year-end closeout activities including follow-up on receivables and encumbrance decreases; undertake special projects as directed.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
