APU Disassembly Technician

Job Summary
Clean and remove paint from parts using chemical strippers and blast cabinets while maintaining organized work areas and strict FOD control. Operate, maintain, and service specialized equipment to support disassembly, machining, inspection, and reassembly processes. Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, and data inputs within the ERP system by reading FAA, EASA, and ISO documentation and interpreting technical manuals to determine task feasibility. Requires high school diploma, two years of mechanical experience, and ability to use precision measuring tools in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED minimum
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience
- strong aptitude for acquiring new mechanical skills and knowledge
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and hand tools appropriate to the assigned tasks
- Ability to locate, read and follow the technical data appropriate for the assigned task
- Must be able to read, write and understand English fluently
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school courses in auto or diesel mechanics or machinist classes preferred
- FAA Airframe and/or Power Plant license or equivalent certification preferred but not required
