APU Assembly Technician

Job Summary
Conduct assembly, testing, and travelers for LRUs, components, parts, and tools. Perform disassembly, cleaning, analytical inspection, rework schemes, painting, and packaging as assigned. Replace or repair damaged engine parts using hand, pneumatic, and precision tools while maintaining organized work areas and strict FOD control. Read maintenance manuals and FAA, EASA, and ISO documentation to determine task feasibility. Complete work orders, BOMs, and data inputs within the ERP system. Operate and service specialized equipment. Requires minimum three years of mechanical experience, turbine engine overhaul background, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED minimum
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience
- strong aptitude for acquiring new mechanical skills and knowledge
- Experience in turbine engine overhaul or engine component overhaul
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and hand tools appropriate to the assigned tasks
- Ability to locate, read and follow the technical data appropriate for the assigned task
- Must be able to read, write and understand English fluently
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Honeywell 331 series APU's preferred
- Technical school courses in auto or diesel mechanics or machinist classes preferred
- FAA Airframe and/or Power Plant license or equivalent certification preferred but not required
