Job Summary
The Common Law Section seeks leaders in the legal profession for a Regular Part-Time Professor role to teach CML3303 The Law of Evidence. The course provides an introduction to basic evidentiary concepts and tools, focusing on civil and administrative proceedings with analysis of some criminal evidence decisions. Significant practical experience in evidence law is expected; prior teaching experience is an asset. The position is anchored at the Main Campus in Ottawa with evening class schedules and is governed by applicable collective agreements. An acceptable level of education/experience may be considered equivalent to the stated requirements.
Required Qualifications
- An LL.B., J.D., or equivalent is required for this position.
- Membership in the Law Society of Ontario, or equivalent, in good standing is also required.
