Job Summary
Conduct personal and collaborative reflection and enactment of the Ontario College of Teachers "Standards of Practice and Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession" while preparing for and monitoring practice teaching. Synthesize personal professional development through action research and inquiry. Participate in ten in-person instructional sessions and two online modules delivered via Brightspace. Engage with a cohort of 386 students during the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 academic periods.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in education
- Qualification in a field related to teaching in schools in Ontario
- Recent experience in teaching in a school or working in administration of a school board at the Primary Junior level
- Knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum
- Knowledge of the Ethical Standards and Standards of Practice of the Ontario College of Teachers
