APTPUO: Fall 2026 - PT Professor (9-hour): ESL 140 F100

Fall 2026 Part-Time Professor (9-hour) ESL 140 F100 at the University of Ottawa. Responsible for delivering ESL 140: Academic Bridging in English with emphasis on fluent and accurate oral production and written skills across a range of authentic passages. Teach and assess in-person across Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–1:00 PM during the September–December 2026 term; responsibilities include organizing and synthesizing information from sources, guiding students in research reporting and expository essay writing, and collaboration through team-teaching. Requires a Master’s degree in second language teaching, TESL or related discipline, at least two years of ESL teaching experience at the college/university level, TESL certification or equivalent, and in-person instruction; previous experience with team-teaching is preferred. Salary/remuneration is determined by the relevant union agreement and course type, with eligibility and scheduling governed by the University of Ottawa.
