Part-time Lecturer for ESL 130: Academic Enhancement in English at the University of Ottawa, teaching refinement of reading, listening, and speaking/ writing through debates, extended oral presentations, unguided summaries, and academic essays. Schedule Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, on Main Campus (Ottawa, ON) with in-person instruction. Requires Master’s degree in second language teaching, TESL, or related discipline, plus two years of ESL teaching at the college/university level and TESL certification or equivalent; prior experience teaching this course or an equivalent ESL course and team-teaching experience are required. The role operates under OLBI and university policies, with an emphasis on inclusive teaching, accessibility, and adherence to provincial training requirements.
