Job Summary
Prepare factums and other written submissions for the intellectual property moot competition, providing practical advocacy training in administrative, trial, appellate, legislative, and international forums. Lead the course during Fall 2026, January 2027, and Winter 2027 semesters with a schedule to be determined. Work 39 hours at an hourly rate of $239.47, with rates subject to collective agreement changes and vacation pay excluded.
Required Qualifications
- Common Law Section is seeking candidates who are leaders in the legal profession.
- An LL.B., J.D., or equivalent is required for this position.
- Membership in the Law Society of Ontario (or equivalent) in good standing is also required.
- The successful candidate will have significant expertise and experience in intellectual property and written advocacy.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience will be considered an asset.
