Job Summary
Intensive practice in academic essay writing for ENG1100. Emphasis on grammatical and well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Frequent written exercises and development of composition skills. Teaching duties align with Regular Part-Time Professor status; schedule includes Tuesday and Thursday evenings (17:30-19:00). An acceptable level of education and/or experience may be considered equivalent to the required education. Adaptive measures available upon request. Start date Fall 2026 at Main Campus in Ottawa; hourly rate of $239.47 (2024-2025) applied to teaching duties; contract governed by applicable collective agreements.
