Regular Part-Time Professor position for ENG1100: Workshop in Essay Writing. Intensive practice in academic essay writing with emphasis on grammatical and well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Includes frequent written exercises and development of composition skills; use of Writing Centre resources required outside regular class hours. Schedule includes Monday and Wednesday 17:30-19:00 with potential for schedule changes. An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as equivalent to the required education. The role is housed in the English department at the University of Ottawa, with teaching at the Main Campus in Ottawa, Ontario.
