Job Summary
Part-time Regular Professor teaching BIO1141 Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Ottawa. Courses are scheduled Tue 8:30-10:00 and Fri 10:00-11:30. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, developing and maintaining course content, and assessing student performance in a biology course covering topics such as origin of life, cell structure, cytoskeleton, extracellular matrix, cell movement, cell cycle and reproduction, molecular biology fundamentals (replication, transcription, translation), and membrane transport. Requires postdoctoral training in biology and demonstrated success as a university-level teacher. The hiring process follows the university’s collective agreements.
